Pamela Karen Fisher Duby
Pamela Karen Fisher Duby went to her eternal home on June 17 with her son, Sean by her side. Pam was born on August 20, 1945 to Laurence and Dorothy Fisher at Batson’s Hospital in Greenville. She was raised in Taylorsville as the youngest of five children. She resided in Taylorsville throughout her life attending local schools, graduating from Greenville High School in 1963. She worked as a lumber clerk for both Louisiana Pacific and later, Sierra Pacific Industries, where she retired in 2011.
Pam married Phil Johnson and they made their home in Taylorsville, where they raised their two sons; Sean & Harold. She met and married Gerald Duby in 1986 and they made their home in Taylorsville. He preceded her in death in 2020.
She is survived by Sean (Maria) of Crescent Mills, Harold (Kim) of Mica, Washington; by her precious grandchildren Ashley, Megan, Sam, and Jessica; great grandchildren Lena, Carmella, Cal, and Baby Reddam, due in October; her sister, Diane Lawson, of Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be Saturday, July 29, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Quincy, with a Celebration of Life following at 1:00 p.m. at Taylorsville Camp Grounds. Arrangements are by Blair Mortuary, Quincy.
