PDH is back open and operational
Power has been restored to Plumas District Hospital and the emergency room is now open this afternoon, Dec. 27.
CEO JoDee Read said that work is being done on the hospital’s generator and PG&E is bringing a backup in the event the power goes out again. The long range forecast contains many more days of snow.
The walk-in clinic in the Quincy building will remain open for the rest of the day. The plan is for operations to return to normal tomorrow, Dec. 28, but Read said she anticipates some staff being unable to make it into work as well as some patients.
