PDH Volunteers offer scholarships to those interested in a health career
Plumas District Hospital Volunteers are offering five scholarship awards to residents or graduates of a high school within the Plumas Hospital district. Award amounts are: (1) $2,000, (2) $1,000, and (2) $500. Qualifying candidates must have completed a minimum of one year in health-related academic studies or one year of employment in the healthcare field. Examples of qualifying courses/programs: Pre-med, nursing, laboratory science, medical imaging, behavioral health, and dentistry. Applications are available online at https://www.pdh.org/about/volunteers or at the Bargain Boutique on Main Street Quincy. Completed applications must be received or postmarked by April 14.
