PG&E Planned Power Outage Update

April 21, 2022

Planned Power Outage Saturday Morning for Indian Valley Region

A planned power outage will occur early Saturday while Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) swaps generators at a substation in Crescent Mills.

Power will be out from about 12:01 a.m. until about 6:30 a.m. Saturday for 1,500 PG&E customers in Greenville, Crescent Mills and Taylorsville.

The generators are being swapped as they are due for regular maintenance and not because of earlier power outages for customers in the region. An earlier issue with power outages in these communities was due to a controller device which PG&E has already addressed.
