PG&E restores power to Plumas communities
Power was restored this evening at approximately 7:10 in Twain; at 7:23 p.m. in Quincy, and slightly after that in East Quincy. The power outage ended roughly 7 hours after it began. Sorry kids, looks like there will be school tomorrow. PG&E used helicopters to access the remote area of the Canyon where the problem with the transmission line was detected. The crews were working to make the repairs before it became too dark this evening to continue their work.
