Plumas Arts features the work of Levi Mullen; opening reception April 7
Plumas Arts is pleased to announce a gallery opening reception this Friday, April 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 525 Main Street in Quincy.

For the month of April, Plumas Arts will be displaying the work of artist Levi Mullen. “I am a lifetime resident of Plumas County. Born a Maidu descendent. I graduated Feather River College with an art degree,” he said. “My artwork is spontaneous in nature. It’s like meditating to become one with the divine. I keep my heart open without duality or judgement of self. I create a frequency that transcends into the universe. I am a musician, cook, and artist. These art pieces show one perspective until you get up closer, and that will reveal infinite perspectives. I create this art so that I can be connected to the universe without going outside. The gift of my artwork allows me to invite people to see a universe inside their home. It is representative of a symbol of unity, and connection to the source.”

Plumas Arts also coordinates the art display at Patti’s Thunder Café. For the months of March & April, Patti’s Thunder Cafe is exhibiting a show by photographer Michael Beatley. “My photographs of nature, landscape, wildlife, architecture and still life are designed to highlight the beauty of where we live, here in Plumas County,” Beatley said. “We are surrounded by abundant opportunities to capture with a camera the beauty of a portion of the northern Sierra Nevada mountain range. The area is rich in history with stunning lakes, waterfalls, forests, meadows, wildlife and flowers. I hope some of my work has captured this beauty.”
The Plumas Arts Gallery and office hours are Wednesday thru Friday 11 to 5 and Saturday 10 to 4.
