Plumas Bank announced it will open a full-service branch in Chico in early 2023. The Quincy-based community bank has provided business and agricultural lending services to clients in Chico since 2014. The new full-service branch allows the company to serve additional clients and support local business growth.
“We’ve developed long-term relationships with several business and agricultural partners in the region, and this next step brings our full scope of personal and business banking services to the area.” said David McAlister, Plumas Bank vice president, commercial/Ag lender.
Plumas Bank President and CEO Andrew Ryback, added, “Plumas Bank’s expertise is supporting communities where trusted banking relationships, local decision-making and product flexibility make all the difference for business owners to thrive and succeed. Chico is a community we can serve well. It’s a natural extension of our service area in Northeastern California.”
The new branch will be conveniently located near the city’s primary business corridor at 900 Mangrove Avenue, Chico. The building was purchased by Plumas Bank in March 2022 and will be undergoing major renovations with a projected branch opening in early 2023. The new branch office will house a lending team, branch team and other administrative roles.
Plumas Bank’s upgrades include environmentally friendly roofing, solar panels, LED lighting, energy efficient air conditioning and appliances, eco-friendly paint, and flooring made from recyclable materials. The landscape will be designed for low water usage. A supporter of local art and city beautification, Plumas Bank is also exploring options for a local artist to create a mural on the branch exterior.
Plumas Bank’s current loan production office in Chico, at 100 Amber Grove Drive, continues to offer lending services to clients during the transition. More information, including information about employment opportunities for the new branch, can be found at plumasbank.com/chico.
