The Carson City branch of Plumas Bank was the victim of an armed robbery Thursday morning, Jan. 27.
The suspect brandished a gun and was given an undisclosed amount of money, before he fled on foot. “He is considered armed and dangerous,” said Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.
The robbery happened at the Plumas Bank at the corner of William and N. Carson streets at around 9:30 a.m. No one was injured in the incident, which is being investigated by the FBI.
The suspect is described as an adult black male, about 5-feet 7-inches tall. He was wearing all black.
