Plumas Bank’s new commercial lending manager

 

Plumas Bancorp, the parent company of Plumas Bank, recently announced that Jack Prescott has joined the bank as senior vice president, commercial lending manager. Prescott brings over 35 years of commercial banking experience to his new position and is responsible for managing lending objectives, targets, strategies, and practices to achieve organizational financial growth. He will also direct a team of experienced commercial lenders throughout the bank’s service area.

“Jack brings a rich and diverse experience to the commercial lending group and will lead our team as we continue to focus on our strategic vision for growth and success of the bank.  His expertise in portfolio management, credit analysis and business development will benefit our clients, the bank, and our shareholders, ” Executive Vice President, Chief Banking Officer, BJ North commented.

Prescott remarked, “I am honored to join Plumas Bank and to work with such a highly successful and talented team.  I look forward to contributing to the bank’s strong credit culture and continued growth.”

Prescott graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Agricultural Economics. He also graduated with distinction from the American Bankers Association (ABA) Commercial Lending Graduate School of Banking. Prescott has lived in Reno for over four decades and is very active in his community. He currently serves on the New West CDFI board of directors whose primary mission is affordable housing. Over the years he has served as an executive board member of the Reno/Sparks Chamber of Commerce, EDAWN, Education Collaborative, Partners in Education, and Pathways to Aviation. Prescott enjoys gardening, hiking, fishing, playing golf and pickleball.
