Plumas Charter shares latest updates on cases
With Plumas Unified School District reporting new cases almost daily — yesterday there were three cases reported at C. Roy Carmichael Elementary in Portola — Plumas New checked in with Plumas Charter School.
While Plumas Unified and Feather River College report cases as they are notified by the Public Health Agency, Plumas Charter does not routinely report. Executive Director Taletha Washburn explained that the charter school doesn’t have the staff to commit to doing so on a regular basis.
However, she did say today, Nov. 10, that two cases were confirmed on the Quincy K-6 site, and one in Chester. Last week there was an additional case at the Quincy K-6 site. “Our numbers remain low and no in school spread is occurring at this time,” Washburn said.
