Plumas Christian School fundraiser is a success

The Plumas Christian School fundraiser “Small School, BIG Impact” was an amazing success.

The school set a goal of $60,000, met that goal and surpassed it in the first 24 hours. They are grateful to the small group of matching donors committing $30,000. The match creates a powerful one-time opportunity for donors to double their donations, and it is a substantial boost to their fundraising efforts.

Plumas Christian School appreciates all who generously gave to and prayed for the school. The administration is encouraged by the prayerful and financial support of the one-time, monthly and annual donors.

The mission of Plumas Christian School has not changed: “To bring children to biblical wisdom and academic excellence through teaching of the whole child using biblical methods.”

The school’s few founding families with a dream and vision for their children’s education have made a big impact every year since their commitment to starting Plumas Christian School in 1986. The active and generous response to the 2020 fundraiser provides the school the opportunity to continue the work and remain an option for local families.

According to Plumas Christian School representatives, the school has “been blessed beyond measure with a total to date of $72,947.”
