Plumas Eureka cancels breakfast in wake of COVID, fires

Plumas Eureka Community Auxiliary (PECAUX) has cancelled the Pancake Breakfast for Sept. 4 due to the outbreak of the Covid Delta variant and the devastating fires which are causing evacuations and unhealthy air quality.

“We know this is very disappointing for all of us, but the health and safety of our staff, members and community remains our number one priority,” organizers said.

With the impact of the Dixie and Beckworth fires, donations are needed more than ever. We would like to offer everyone an opportunity to make a contribution to help our firefighters and to continue supporting their service.
