Plumas Grief Support

Finding healing in sharing

“I’m not alone in my journey and that makes my grief a little bit more bearable and understandable,” remarked a participant in a Plumas Grief Support group.

Are you grieving the loss of a loved one? Struggling to find a way to cope and continue your life with meaning and purpose? If so, please join with others in a support group for adults grieving the loss of a loved one.

Beginning Monday, Jan. 27, the group meets weekly for 10 weeks from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Plumas Rural Services. Led by Sharon Taschenberg, Bereavement Group Facilitator, Plumas Grief Support offers a safe and compassionate setting to share and explore feelings and emotions associated with grief and the chance to begin the healing process.

Through discussion and readings, you will gain a clearer understanding of the grief process and discover ways of coping as you move forward in life without your loved one.
