Plumas players on victorious South team in All Star Game
The 9th annual Northern Section Jr. High All Star game took place Sunday, March 12, at Chico Jr. High School. This was a highlight of the North Section’s best Jr. High basketball players.
These games featured the top 60 players representing 37 schools. The teams were divided into North and South squads, North representing schools from Red Bluff north to the Oregon border, South squad representing school south of Red Bluff to Arbuckle, including Plumas and Lassen counties.
Representing Plumas County in the 7th-grade division was Colton Barney from Portola, Jace Moore from Quincy, Colby Clark and Patrick Gerbatz both from Chester.
The South defeated the North with a score of 81-68.
