Plumas resident captures image of four mountain lions

A Plumas News reader shared this photo of a group of four mountain lions that he captured on his game camera Sept. 11.  This is the second time that they have made an appearance that he has seen. For geographical reference, this picture was captured on his property located on Highway 70 near Dreamcatcher RV Park near Graeagle.

“It was unnerving to say the least, but they are absolutely beautiful and did not cause any trouble,” said Scott Martin.  He added that they seemed to be well-fed, most likely on the local deer population.

“I am sharing this simply because it seems rare to see four mountain lions together, and my neighbors may want to keep an eye out if they have pets or small children,” he said.
