Plumas voter turnout edges up to 38 percent
Plumas County currently has a voter turnout of 38 percent as of this morning, Nov. 4.
“As it is too late for our office to mail any ballots out for the Nov. 8, 2022 General Election, please come into our office at 520 Main Street, Room 102, if you need a replacement ballot, or you did not receive your ballot,” said County Clerk Recorder Marcy DeMartile. ” We are here from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Election Day.
DeMartile said they are also prepared to take care of any voters that missed the deadline to register to vote for this election which was on Oct. 24. “We have procedures ready to have those voters vote conditionally for this election, and then be registered for all future elections,” she said.
