Power outages hopscotching around the county
Pockets of Plumas County are currently without power. While Greenville and Portola still have electricity, Chester and Quincy do not, as of 10 a.m. this morning, Dec. 14.
Chester, which is served by PG&E, lost power about 8 p.m. last night, while 2,267 customers in the Quincy area (also served by PG&E) lost power about 9:30 this morning.
Portola and Eastern Plumas lost power for a time, but it has been restored. It’s reported that the power is out in Susanville as well.
There is currently no update for when restoration is expected. Plumas News will post updates as they become available.
