Prescribed burn today
The Forest Service advises that those traveling up to Bucks Lake today, Friday, Feb. 16, from the west side of the Plumas National Forest or down the Oro-Quincy Highway below Brush Creek, will see smoke from an under burn. The prescribed burn is the final step in an area fuel break (defensible fuel profile zone or DFPZ).
