Plumas County Office of Education is partnering with Project Camp @ProjectCampLA to offer a pop up day camp to support children ages 6-16 and their families impacted by the #DixieFire.
Children can be in a safe and engaging program, and parents can get time they need to navigate this chapter of their lives.
The program will run from Wednesday, Aug. 11 through Saturday, Aug.14. The day camp will be located on the Quincy Elementary campus at Pioneer- 175 N Mill Creek Road. Camp is open to ALL children, ages 6-16. Parents may sign their children up with HERE.
ProjectCamp is seeking volunteers to help run this program. All volunteers will need to have vaccinations, complete a background check and attend a two-hour orientation. Volunteers may sign up HERE.
