PSREC asks members to conserve to avoid rolling blackouts

As of 3 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4, the Plumas Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative (PSREC) backup feed is nearing is maximum capacity. PSREC is asking all members to conserve as much as possible to avoid rolling blackouts. Normal usage can take place between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
