PUSD cancels some bus service tomorrow due to anticipated storm

Due to the anticipated winter storm tonight into Friday morning, Plumas Unified School District is canceling the bus service tomorrow, Oct. 22, for the following areas:

Buses leaving Indian Valley and traveling to Quincy or Chester

Special education buses that originate in Indian Valley and pick up students below the Highway 70/89 intersection

General education buses leaving Quincy will go no farther than Keddie

The Plumas County Sheriff has issued a flash flood watch in burn scar areas and has urged caution.
