PUSD reports 8 COVID cases for the week of Nov. 15-19

Plumas Unified School District wrapped up the week with a total of 8 new COVID cases: with five reported Monday, Nov. 15; one reported on Tuesday, Nov. 16 and two reported yesterday Nov. 19.

The five cases reported Nov. 15:

Chester High School: 1

C. Roy Carmichael Elementary in Portola: 3

Alder campus of Quincy Elementary School: 1

One new case on Nov. 16:

C. Roy Carmichael Elementary in Portola

Two new cases reported Nov. 19

Chester Elementary School: 1

Pioneer campus of Quincy Elementary School: 1

The district is working with the Public Health Agency to contact trace and notify those who could be impacted. The California Department of Public Health is helping with the county’s contact tracing.
