PUSD shares COVID cases revealed by today’s testing
As schools across reopened in Plumas County following the Christmas holidays, testing has resumed. Plumas Unified School District Superintendent Terry Oestreich announced the following results from testing today, Jan. 3.
Chester High School: 1 case
Portola High School: 1 case
Quincy High School: 3 cases
C.Roy Carmichael in Portola: 1 case
After 10 days, those who have tested positive may return to work or school and resume normal activities, but must monitor and report symptoms until the 14th day following exposure.
The school district is working with the Public Health Agency to alert those who might be impacted.
