QHS senior offers neurodivergent support group for teenagers
Quincy High School senior Emma Beatley is starting a support group for neurodivergent teenagers as her senior project and she wants to get the word out. Beatley said that for those unfamiliar with the term neurodivergent, it means anyone different in mental function, so this would include but not limited to people who are on the spectrum, have ADHD, or OCD. The support group will meet on Tuesday, March 14 at the Plumas County Library from 3:30-5 p.m.. There will be snacks, games and gift cards for anyone who shows up.
