Quincy educational organization serves the community supper
Members of a local educational organization serve tacos during the most recent Quincy community supper. Photo submittedThe Quincy Chapter KH of PEO, an international philanthropic educational organization, hosted the Quincy Community Supper on March 22. The diners enjoyed a hearty sit-down meal of floating tacos — both meat and vegetarian available — followed by chocolate chip cookies. They also took home many take-out suppers. Kenny Davis supplied the musical background.
The Community Supper is held the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month at the Methodist Church at no charge. The next supper will be held April 12. Quincy businesses, civic organizations, churches and others take turns hosting the supper, which began in 2002.
