Friday, Oct. 1, saw a day in Quincy drenched in the red and white school colors, starting with the traditional parade downtown at 12:30 where students rode on floats and trucks, waving at the crowd and were  happy to get back to normal fall traditions after a year of absence. The theme this year was “holidays.”

Then came the crowning of the homecoming queen —senior Kayla Thackeray with Hailey Crump as princess —between the junior varsity and varsity games at the football stadium at Feather River College that evening. The varsity team beat the Weed Cougars 21-17. More information on the game will be included in a separate article.

The students attended an outdoor dance in the quad on Saturday evening.

Enjoy these photos of the homecoming.
