Quincy Little League Grey Team goes undefeated

The Quincy Little League Majors Baseball Grey Team went undefeated during the regular season.

The team played 12 games this year, competing against two other Quincy teams, as well as teams from Portola, Loyalton, and Chester. “They all worked very hard, learned a lot and, most importantly, had a great time playing baseball,” said team manager Amber Marshall. “Supported by great coaches, the team’s success was attributed to the team cohesiveness and strong team spirit throughout the season.”

Now several members of the Grey Team will move on with members from the other Quincy teams to participate in one consolidated Quincy All-Star Team. They will play in a tournament to be held in Susanville June 29-July 2.
