Quincy rec district sponsors Christmas decorating contest
The Central Plumas Recreation and Park District is sponsoring a Christmas light and decorating contest this year and invites all homes, businesses and organizations to participate.
Grand prize winners in each of four categories:
- The Griswold award – lots of lights
- The Reason for the Season – religious theme
- Themed – you pick the theme and go with it
- Business
A $10 entry fee is required and entry forms must be received by Monday, Nov. 28, with the judging to take place after 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1. Winners will be announced during Sparkle at 6:05 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 in front of the courthouse.
