Quincy schools closed; other PUSD sites on 2- hour delay
Plumas Unified School District announced this morning, Dec. 16, that all of its Quincy schools will be closed today, including both sessions of the Quincy Special Day Preschool, due to the lack of power. Even if the power is restored, it takes several hours for boilers to heat the facility. Most of Quincy has been without power since last evening.
Elsewhere in the District all schools will be on a two-hour delayed start due to icy roads and to allow time for crews to remove snow.
