Quincy ski season opener
Quincy’s Cody Morrison navigates around a gate during the Trojans’ first race of the season at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort in Norden on Monday, Jan. 4. This season started with more snow on the first race than all of last season combined, said coach Katy Dyrr. Kainoa Hall placed 11th, Morrison placed 15th and Luke Zempel rounded out the Trojan skiers in 31st. Quincy raced at Squaw Valley on Monday, Jan. 11. Results will be available in next week’s paper.
