Quincy’s ‘Virtual Sparkle’ is tonight!
The Quincy Chamber of Commerce says “It’s time! Wait a minute – what on earth is this “Virtual Sparkle” you ask? The Quincy Chamber of Commerce has put together a slew of videos – all from local businesses, organizations and events, that showcase each participating business and highlight the different aspects that make Sparkle so much fun for everyone. There’s the Light Parade, the Christmas Tree Lighting (with countdown, of course!), Johnny Walker playing his harmonica, entertainment, a snippet from tonight’s opening of Chipper’s Christmas Wonderland and a message (or two?) from Santa … all combined with gift ideas for your loved ones.
We want to take a moment to thank all the businesses, organizations and individuals that participated in this event, and give a special shout-out to Josie Litchfield and Debbie Collette, whose volunteer assistance was absolutely vital to this production. Thank you all!
Sparkle specials:
Quintopia is offering a Thai Red Curry with Chicken and Vegetables over Jasmine Rice as its Sparkle Special. This yummy dish is priced at just $13 and can be ordered by calling (530) 289-6530. Quintopia’s regular menu will also be available.
Did someone say tacos?! Lucio’s Restaurant is offering 8 street tacos for just $20 (one taco each of carne asada, shrimp, fish, alambre, shredded beef, shredded chicken and ground beef) OR 8 enchiladas for $20 (your choice of cheese, shredded chicken, shredded beef or ground beef). Rice and beans can be added for only $4.50. These delicious meals can be ordered by calling Lucio’s at (530) 283-1949. Lucio’s regular menu will also be available.
