Quintopia Brewing continues to rebuild following summer fire

Quintopia Brewing Co announced a milestone in its fire recovery this morning as it took delivery of some shiny new fermentation tanks and other equipment to be used with the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co’s Original Brewhouse — which is on loan from that generous industry partner located in Chico.

Founder Tom Hepner said, “We still have a long way to go in the fire recovery … but can assure Quincy that rebuilding planning is well underway for a wonderful dedicated new facility at the original location. And we are excited to get brewing soon on our temporary setup behind and inside the West End Theatre. It’s been a very tough year in many different ways, but feeling positive! The support from Quincy and the regional community has been amazing, and we are so grateful to still have a busy taproom and wonderful staff and customers to support us through this setback.”

New brewing equipment is delivered to Quintopia this morning, Nov. 10. It’s all part of the rebuilding process following a July 29 fire that gutted its brewing operations, as well as the Plumas Crisis Intervention and Resource Center, and other buildings.
