Read Across America Week has been extended at the Plumas library branches
Due to the storm closures last week, the library is pleased to be able to extend the Read Across America book give away. Stop by your local branch (during open hours) and complete an activity sheet, turn it in, and choose a free book. (One book per person per day.) Activity sheets are also available on the library’s website at www.plumascounty.us/593.
Visit in person during open hours to check out materials, use the computers or Wi-Fi, ask for help, and join the programming. You can always browse the library website to discover the ever-expanding digital options too. Check out an e-book with Libby, get digital access to the NY Times, watch a film festival with Filmocracy, learn a new skill with LinkedIn Learning, and so much more. You can always connect with the library on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/PlumasCountyPublicLibrary. If you do not have a library card, we can set you up with an online access card or you can stop in to get a physical card, plus we have plenty of resources that don’t require a card at all. Call your local branch for further information or if you have questions.
