Register now for the Lake Almanor Mile High 100 bike ride

The 40th annual Mile High 100 bike ride will return Saturday, June 17, sponsored by the Almanor Recreation and Park District in Chester. Three routes will showcase the beauty and tranquility of Lake Almanor with amazing views of Lassen Peak.

Distances are 33 miles, 68 miles and 100 miles and the metric century and full century rides feature new routes venturing east to Lassen County via Highway 147 and County Road A-21, including a new rest stop at the Walker Mansion in Westwood. All routes include fully-stocked rest stops, rider support, catered lunch and beverages (including a complimentary post-ride beer from Timber House Brewing). All riders will also receive a commemorative T-shirt.

 This year’s platinum event sponsors include Chase International Lake Almanor Brokers, Chester Car Wash, Collins Companies, Howard Construction, Knotty Pine Resort, Plumas Bank, Slusher Plumbing, Seneca Healthcare District and Timber House.

 The Mile High 100 is one of the Almanor Recreation and Park District’s largest fundraising event and all proceeds benefit District programs and events, as well as capital improvement projects, with an emphasis on recreation, parks and trails.
