Announcing the reopening of the Quincy Theatre on Saturday evening at 8 o’clock p.m. with a showing of the western drama silent film: “The Man from the Painted Post”, written and starring Douglas Fairbanks and a second feature: a Mack Sennett comedy. Adults 30 cents, children 10 cents.

50 YEARS AGO … 1969

Easter advertisement: Come and Dine with us for Easter—Ranch style buffet at the Crossroads at Lake Almoner, $3.95 buffet or full menu service. Prime rib special special at Bob’s Fine Foods in Quincy, $3.25. Mohawk Dining Room smorgasboard featuring 25 salads and 5 entrees, $3.00.
