Residents only can return to La Porte area
The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office has issued new evacuation and road closure information. (See below). The areas of La Porte and Little Grass Valley Reservoir are no longer under mandatory evacuation and residents only will be allowed to enter those areas. However, the communities remain under an advisory, meaning that they should be prepared to evacuate again should the need arise.
