Roadshow of year’s best avian photography coming to Quincy
Plumas Audubon will be hosting a special art opening from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2, during Sparkle on Main Street in Quincy. The exhibit will be on display at Plumas Audubon Society’s downtown office at 429 Main St., upstairs.
The show will display National Audubon Society’s Best Bird Photography of 2016. The 12 winning photographs were selected from over 7,000 entries. Stop by for a hosted reception, enjoy these amazing photographs and get some holiday shopping done at the Plumas Audubon Store.

The store carries a variety of items from bird guides to binoculars, hats, T-shirts, bird feeders, plush birds and more.
Plumas Audubon has been in this community for 26 years and continues to host informative programs and events, sponsor field trips to the best birding spots around the county, coordinate Christmas Bird Counts, work on conservation and education programs, as well as conduct essential research on birds around the county.
The photography exhibit will open this Friday and be on display through Thursday, Dec. 22.
