Sandra Lee Williams

Sandra Lee Williams (Sandi) passed away peacefully, on January 15, 2023, with her son Keith by her side. Sandi was born on May 6, 1945, in Willows, California. She was the only child of John and Sarah Thomas.

Sandi married the love of her life, William J. Williams Jr. (Bill), on October 15, 1966 in San Mateo. They moved to Truckee in the early 1980’s where she worked as a receptionist at a dental office. Sandi and Bill eventually retired and moved to Graeagle in 2001. They loved the mountains and visiting Webber Lake.

She was an active member of the Graeagle Community Church and volunteered for over a decade at the Mohawk Community Resource Center. She was also a member of the Republican Women’s Group. Her hobbies included knitting, playing cards, and spending time with friends and family.

Sandi was preceded in death by her husband Bill and survived by her son Keith and

daughter-in-law Michele and her dog Maddie.

There will be a celebration of life at the Graeagle Community Church on Saturday, April 22, at 1pm.
