Santa Trains are coming to town

The annual Santa Train is coming to the Western Pacific Railroad Museum, so get the family ready to bundle up for a festive ride on opening day, Saturday, Dec. 7, from 4 to 9 p.m. Trains begin running at 5 p.m.

The Santa Train will also run on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13-14 and 20-21, with the museum open from 4 to 9 p.m. Trains depart starting at 5 p.m.

All are invited to take a magical trip aboard the light-covered and decorated Santa Train, as well as visit with the Jolly Old Saint, Santa Claus himself, with the option of snapping a photo together.

Attendees are welcome to also shop the Museum store, get a face painting by Monica’s Face Painting, grab snacks from Treat Yourself, and grab a ZipperPal or two. Complimentary cookies and hot beverages will also be available during the event.

There will also be $20 locomotive cab rides and $10 youth cab rides available for train enthusiasts. Admission for the event is $10 per car or $5 with three or more cans of food for the EPCAN Food Bank. For more information, visit santa.wplives.org.
