Seneca welcomes new temporary provider to family medicine team

Seneca Healthcare District announced today, Aug. 26, that it is welcoming Iris Baccam, MD, as a temporary provider to its family medicine team. The team consists of two physicians and one nurse practitioner  committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for the entire family.

Dr. Baccam earned her Master of Science at the University North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth, TX, her MD at Ross School of Medicine, Dominica, West Indies, and completed her residency at Eisenhower Health, Rancho Mirage, CA. She has proven experience in making accurate diagnoses and developing effective treatment plans. Dr. Baccam is interested in primary care, women’s health, and pediatrics. She has certification in several areas of expertise which includes the following:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • DEA License
  • Buprenorphine Waiver Course Completion- American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry
  • Advance life support in Obstetrics
  • Fundamental Critical Care Support
