Senior Summit offers Plumas seniors information and resources
The sixth annual Senior Summit will be held Wednesday, Sept. 26., from 9:30 to 3 p.m., at the Quincy Veterans Memorial Hall, 274 Lawrence St. There will be several local and regional presenters sharing their expertise, information and resources accessible to the seniors of Plumas County specifically.
Some of the planned topics include a medical Q&A panel, Medicare and elder identity theft, and there will be over a dozen agencies available to answer questions and provide pertinent information.
This year there will be less presentations and more resource connection opportunities as well as games and prizes! Lunch, including a vegetarian option, and transportation are available at no cost.
