The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office announced this evening that at this point the threat to local waterways flooding has decreased, and thus lifted the evacuation warnings for all areas along the Middle Fork of the Feather River from Beckwourth to Sloat.
Plumas Unified School District Superintendent Bill Roderick informed students and families that Portola schools will reopen tomorrow after being closed for three days due to the evacuation warnings.
