As always, please be sure to support our local merchants. They put in a lot of time, effort and energy into providing us all with the best food and merchandise available. They keep their shops and restaurants open late that night, many of them offer live entertainment and they go all-out to decorate and really make this event … well … Sparkle! Sparkle would be nothing without them and we appreciate all they do.
Other Chamber member events include:
• Nov. 29: Black Friday sale at Bargain Boutique
• Nov. 29: FRC Alumni Home for the Holidays event at Main Street Artists
• Opening Dec. 5 – “A Christmas Carol” musical taking place at West End Theatre
During Sparkle on Dec. 6 Plumas Arts has their Gallery Opening and Quintopia Brewing Co. will offer live music featuring Kaline LeCoq and Boot Juice
• Dec. 12: Words & Music (sponsored by Plumas Arts) takes place at Patti’s
• Dec. 15: 50th Annual Community Sing sponsored by Soroptimist International happens at the Courthouse.
Did you know that many of our local businesses have weekly events, meetings, classes and more? There’s always so much to see and do in Quincy — check out our calendar at quincychamber.com/community-calendar.
Looking ahead to 2020, Chuck will return to visit Quincy Chamber of Commerce members in January. Keep an eye out for the fuzzy guy as he makes his annual rounds before Groundhog Fever Festival on Feb. 1. Stay tuned.
