Summerfest is back; popular band booked

Plans are firming up for the return of one of the most popular events in Eastern Plumas County. Summerfest 2022 at White Sulphur Springs Ranch is scheduled for the last Sunday in June.  A local tradition, Summerfest had to be canceled for two years due to the pandemic.

This is an outdoor event complete with entertainment, food, a silent auction, a no host bar and tours of the historic ranch house. Hours are from 3 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, June26. This year the featured entertainers will be the Comstock Cowboys from the Bucket of Blood saloon in Virginia City.  The band makes the old West come alive with authentic garb such as six guns, chaps and spurs. They last appeared to a record crowd at Summerfest 2017.

White Sulphur Springs Ranch overlooks the entrance to the Mohawk Valley at 2200 Highway 89, just south of County Road A-15 in Clio.  Attendees will be amazed at the improvements made by the army of Mohawk Vallely Stewardship Council (MVSC) volunteers.  The band will perform on a new stage; there will be a dance floor and the old Ranch House has an improved facade and period interior furnishings.

More information and details to follow but interested parties should save the date now for this Plumas County tradition.
