Plumas County Supervisor and Board Chairman Michael Sanchez surprised his fellow supervisors today, July 2, when he handed them a letter tendering his resignation. Citing health reasons and the need to be closer to the VA medical center in Reno, Sanchez said his resignation would be effective July 31.
