Susan Lake

Susan Lake, 76, of Quincy, California, passed away May 14, 2023, in Vacaville, CA.

She was born May 23, 1946, to Robert and Hazel Mulholland of Fargo, North Dakota. Being the youngest of seven, she grew up in a very busy house that only got busier as four cousins came to live with them.

She graduated from Fargo High School and at the young age of 18, she followed two of her sisters to California for her next adventure. At 21, she met a young Navy sailor and fell in love. On March 2, 1968, they married and started their lives together.

Susan is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Joe) Dillon and Jennifer (Matthew) Taborski; grandchildren Zachary (KT), Cory (Kimberly), Elizabeth (Christian), Jessica (Sein) and Austin; great-grandchildren Cayson and Scarlett; and special fur great-grand Helo and numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan will be laid to rest with her husband of 47 years, Jack, at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, California. No services are planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in her memory are made to the Alzheimer/Dementia Association or to the non-profit closes to your heart.
