It was a great first day of June in Plumas County and a real marker of summer at the annual County Picnic. The weather in Quincy at the fairgrounds was sublime, hot with a break now and then from gorgeous clouds that dropped not a single drop on the spit and polished car specimens on display.
The longest line all day at the County Picnic was at the Burger Shack selling Fresh Squeezed Lemonade on the first hot days of spring.
