Updated ballots being sent to 30 registered voters in Graeagle area

Some registered voters in the Graeagle area will be receiving updated ballots. Plumas County Clerk Marcy DeMartile, who is also the chief elections official for the county, released the following statement this morning, Oct. 18:

“Following the recent redistricting of the Plumas Unified School District Trustee Areas, and the updating of all precincts in the County, it was discovered today that 30 voters received an incorrect ballot for this election, which did not include the Trustee Area which they are eligible to vote on. We have remedied the situation with the correct ballots going out to those voters today.”

If any member of the public has questions, please call her office at 283-6129 for additional information.

Registered voters who live within Trustee Area 5 of the Plumas Unified School District (areas of East Quincy to Graeagle roughly) are being asked to choose between incumbent Leslie Edlund and challenger Coby Hakalir.
