Volcano heat is not enough
Although rough and ready, the Chester High School Volcanoes fell to the Pershing Mustangs 40-28 in Chester on Sept. 12. The Vols led 16-14 in the first half, but the Mustang scoring stampede in the third quarter put Pershing ahead 33-16. Two more TDs from the Vols in the fourth quarter were not enough for the win.
