Web series filmed in Indian Valley debuts

A little over a year ago, a film crew from Los Angeles led by former Indian Valley resident Kerstin Porter descended upon the area with cameras, equipment, and an idea for a web series set in a small town.

On Saturday, Dec. 28, “Deep Sleeper Spy” will have its debut at the Greenville Cy Hall Memorial Museum, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by a Q & A session with some of the cast and crew members.

Local producer Kest Porter will be on hand as will his daughter, director and writer Kerstin Porter.

Indian Valley Academy students were part of the production, including Kaya Lindford, Laura Lind, Jacob Cook and Olivia McIntyre. Diego Garcia-Couoh worked sound boom with former Indian Valley resident Daniel O’Brian-Smith. The web series also stars locals Kest Porter and Margaret Elysia Garcia.

Admission is free.
